Ezra made his screen debut in the 2014 television film Murdered by My Boyfriend. He then began appearing in BBC dramas, including The Missing and Undercover. He also featured in a British fantasy drama A Discovery of Witches in 2018. The promising actor rose to stardom when he was cast in a leading role in the American sports drama series All American which marked his USA acting debut and was required to learn the American accent.
