Previously, she served as a Production Assistant with the local ABC news affiliate, WCIV-TV in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. However, she moves to Kansas City from WIBW-TV in Topeka, Kan., where she was a live morning reporter prior to joining the desk as a morning anchor. Before her stint in Topeka, Deneysha served as a production assistant with WCIV-TV. She is from Charleston, S.C., and volunteered with independent public access news broadcasts.
Between September 2017 and early 2020, Deynesha worked as a multimedia journalist with WIBW News in Topeka, Kansas Area. She left the station after three years there to join Fox 4 News. While at WIBW, Deneysha begin as a Multimedia Journalist and was promoted to Weekday Morning News Anchor in March 2019.
Richard likes eating at new restaurants, theatre, reading, and volunteering. Her favorite pastime, however, is camping out on the couch to watch Disney movies with her husband and baby girl. She is proud to be welcomed into the homes of many across the Kansas City metro. In her spare time, she enjoys reading in the park, volunteering, and theatre.
