Erin Moriarty is a renowned American Lawyer, television news reporter, and correspondent. She is a correspondent for “48 Hours Mystery” and has won numerous national Emmy Awards.
Moriarty started her career as a reporter for Columbus-based NBC affiliate WCMH-TV in 1979 and worked there till 1980. Subsequently, she worked for Baltimore-based CBS affiliate WJZ-TV in 1980, and in 1982 she joined CBS affiliate WJKW-TV in Cleveland.
She then served as a consumer reporter for WMAQ-TV in Chicago from 1983 to 1986. She then joined CBS News in 1986 where she served as a consumer correspondent for CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News with Dan Rather. Erin then joined the CBS News program 48 Hours as a correspondent in 1990. She co-authored ” Death of a Dream” with Paul LaRosa, a CBS News producer in 2008. The book analyzes the 2005 murder of dancer Catherine Woods in New York. Erin is also a correspondent for 48 Hours Mystery.
