Franklin started singing while she was pretty young. In 1999 she was hired to be an extra in the music video for Destiny’s Child’s ‘Bills, Bills, Bills’ where she met with group members Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson, and LeToya Luckett.
