George Knapp is an award-winning American television investigative journalist, writer, news anchor, and radio host born in Woodbury, New Jersey. Additionally, Knapp is also a conspiracy theorist. Being an investigative reporter, Knapp has hosted and appeared on numerous radio programs and podcasts including Coast to Coast Am, a syndicated paranormal radio show. Moreover, George has been deeply interested in animal welfare since the beginning of his journalism career.
After graduating, Knapp moved to Las Vegas where he started off as a cab driver before interning at KLVX-TV Channel 10. In 1981, got his first professional job working as a reporter and anchor for KLAS-TV a CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada. In 1989, Knapp gained widespread recognition for his investigative work and coverage of UFOs, and the story of journalist Bob Lazar who claimed to have worked on UFOs at the secretive Area 51.
