Margaret Jane Pauley is a renowned American television host and author, currently works at CBS News as host of CBS Sunday Morning.
Jane Pauley began her broadcasting career in 1975 when she joined the NBC television network as a reporter for the news program Today. She quickly rose to prominence and became the co-host of the show Today in 1976. During her seven-year tenure as co-host, she helped the program to become one of the highest-rated shows of the time.
In 1989, Pauley left the show to become the anchor of Dateline NBC, a newsmagazine program. She hosted the show for 13 years from 1992 and became one of the most recognizable figures in the news industry. She later returned to Today as a contributor and was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame in 2002.
