Glor began his career at WSTM-TV Syracuse in 1997 and in 2000 he was a co-anchor of WSTM-TV Syracuse’s 5 p.m. newscast and a reporter for the 11 p.m. newscast until 2003. Jeff then joined WHDH in Boston and served as a weekend evening news anchor and weekday reporter until 2007.
His tenure at CBS News started in 2007 and was co-anchor, and later newsreader, on the Saturday Early Show. In 2009, he began to report for CBS Evening News and CBS Sunday Morning, for which he won an Emmy.
