Lisa Desjardins is a well-known American political Journalist currently working at the PBS NewsHour and has also been a reporter for the US Presidential elections since 2018.
Lisa began her professional career at WBTW in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where she worked from 1998 to 1999 before being fired for undisclosed reasons. Later, she worked as a freelancer for Reuters News Agency, The Sun News, and WIS, an NBC affiliate. She also continued to report for Reuters while working for WIS and Reuters.
In 2003, Lisa became a newswoman at the Washington, D.C. bureau of the Associated Press. She then joined CNN and worked there for nine years from 2005 to 2014. She was CNN Radio’s Congressional correspondent. In October 2014, she joined PBS NewsHour as a political reporter and in July 2015 she was promoted to Political Director.
