Martha Raddatz is a renowned American journalist working with ABC News as the Chief Global Affairs Correspondent reporting for World News Tonight among others.
Raddatz was the chief correspondent at the ABC News Boston affiliate WCVB-TV before joining National Public Radio in 1993 where she covered the Pentagon. In 1999, she joined her current station ABC News and worked as the network’s State Department correspondent. Later in 2003, she became ABC’s senior national security correspondent reporting extensively from Iraq.
She was appointed to her current position as ABC’s senior Foreign Affairs correspondent in November 2008 and has had an impressive career. She is also a co-anchor and primary fill-in anchor on This Week with George Stephanopoulos. Martha is also the author of The Long Road Home: A Story of War and Family, a New York Times bestseller.
