Paula Faris is a well-known American journalist, author, and television correspondent for ABC News, who nowadays serves as a permanent co-host of the show “The View”.
Frais has had quite an impressive career. She started as a production assistant at WKEF/WRGT and later started reporting and anchoring. From 2002 she was the weekend and weekday sports anchor at WCPO-TV in Cincinnati till 2005. From November 2005 to December 2011, she was a sports reporter and anchor at the NBC affiliate WMAQ-TV in Chicago. Frais then joined ABC’s news division ABC News in December 2011 and made her debut for the network for its World News Now and America This Morning on 2nd January 2012. She was also a fill-in on Good Morning America and was promoted to a New York-based reporter for all ABC programs.
She also co-anchored Good Morning America Weekend, co-hosted The View, and later departed to start a podcast “Journeys of Faith with Paula Faris”. In September 2018, she became the senior national correspondent for ABC News.
