Paula Reid is a renowned American journalist and attorney who is the CNN senior legal affairs correspondent based in Washington, D.C. Previously, Reid was a CBS News White House correspondent.
Reid started her career as an intern at CBS News in their Investigative Unit in January 2010. Later that year she later became a production secretary for CBS Evening News. Paula then moved to Washington, D.C. to cover the Justice Department as a reporter for CBS News.
Reid also began filling in as a reporter at the White House in 2017 and in April 2019, she was named the CBS News White House Correspondent. Moreover, she has worked on news broadcasts on CBS Evening News, CBS This Morning, and Face the Nation. Reid was also a fill-in anchor on CBSN.
In March 2021, Paula Reid left CBS to join CNN as a senior legal affairs correspondent.
